At that price, I would want a guaranteed ticket to heaven's door, as well. https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/d/rialto-76-chevrolet-caprice-classic/7165273126.html
Seems to KNOW his asking price is unrealistic, since he starts out his ad text with this: "PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND KEEP YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS TO YOURSELF."
Very nice. Even though i grew up in 70's the hub caps that matched the car paint was not my favorite.
So for this price I could have bought 4 of those red ‘76 T-Birds with 16,000 miles that was recently on this site. I did read the add three times and no those garages are not included, which would have helped me feel better about 70 large.
Mercury used those color keyed wheelcovers on Marquis and Comet models with the Luxury decor option on the Comet. Same with the Ford Maverick. I thought the full size Ford color keyed wheel was nice with the center done in body color with the brushed surround. I looked at my ‘76 Chevrolet brochure and did not find that as an option. Perhaps a subsequent publication or mid year offering, or a dealer package. But again for $70,000 I could sure think of a lot of cars I’d probably rather have. Including 4 of those lovely red ‘76 T-Birds.
Oh right. They just weren’t on the back page. I didn’t pay attention to that blue Caprice. I knew I had seen them but didn’t look at the brochure close enough.
