    I love the car. Those gauges just make it. But that steering wheel has got to go...

    If the 'wood' color matched the dash more closely, I might be in favor of keeping it.

    I had a good friend who bought a new one of these every year of this generation.
    They were great, but the 307 wasn't as much fun as the Olds 350 that was offered in 1979.

    I have always hated both the look & feel of those steering wheels, they were cheap, and probably better than the standard wheel that came in the car. But I never could figure out why you would install that version if you were going to actually drive the car? But it is a cheap replacement for the stock base wheel that usually starts oozing that sticky black tar.

    Otherwise it is a nice example!
