Ratty, but probably a little nicer than that 78 Caprice. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Chevrolet-Kingswood/402255620801 And apparently it's some sort of charity, so maybe the buyer would be helping someone...
Same seller as the Catera. This is in my old home town, Orange, CA - about 5 miles east of Disneyland.
I’ve seen a lot of their cars listed. I’m always a bit leery when the bulk of their posting is about being able to pay, and transport the thing. I know they probably get their share of tire kickers so I get some of it, but sure sounds like they get a lot of junk dropped off at their doorstep. But enough $250 Catera’s and you can pay the bills.
These guys who do the charity thing know next to nothing about what they're selling, nor do they care. This could be an interesting deal for the right price.
I agree, it is bid up to $1125.00 with just under 10 hours remaining, V8 powered, solid body but sunbaked interior and paint. If it stays under $2000 it would be well bought. I get the impression that the car does start and run (with a jump start) but is not driveable. Sounds like everything is worn out. But the solid sheet metal is a big plus.
This car looks less rusty than my 05 Explorer right now. With that said, look at the rear right paint. What are we looking at? Is there a possibility of Bondo here?
Could be bondo. I see the rear fender being pushed in. Top crease line of rear fender looks pushed in when matched against the straight line of rear window trim.
My thought is it got clobbered, but good there, and some jake leg body guy pushed it out, best he could and had some blue paint from a Camaro project, gave it a once over and for $350 everybody was happy.
