Priced at $6000, this is still at risk for being derby bait.

Agreed. The door panels don’t look Impala, can’t tell if the dash has a wood trim under the dash pad.

Other than power locks and rear seat that's about as low dollar a wagon as I've seen before. They did order the color matched seat belts though ($10)! I'm not sure it even has the power tailgate.

Yeah. I think the rear seat is the only original upholstery in the car. The vinyl top pattern looks original and it’s Bel Air pattern 0F9E6622-460E-4E24-A070-E7EB26DE7416.jpeg

Also the Impala door panel had the thin wood inset. Those door panels even look later years. The ‘75-76? Caprice door panel was very similar. Also discolored to the bottoms. Think this thing started off life as a Bel Air, and has been victim to the ole mish-mash treatment. No pic of the tailgate key operation so can’t tell if it has the bump out for finger and thumb manual hold.

Those look to be original, that tan color faded just like that in 1973. My '73 has tan interior and the bottoms faded just like that regardless of sun exposure.

Yeah. Fords had funny fade issues as well. My comment about the different color wasn’t as much about fade as it was about the upper door pattern. In looking at the ‘73 brochure I don’t believe that the design is correct for that year. I know it certainly isn’t for Impala, I think the Bel Air was just three horizontal bump outs. The uppers May have even been the same color at one time. But I don’t believe they’re correct otherwise. Some of those ‘70’s cars have different color garnish moldings. The dyes and the plastics were interesting, and sometimes had different fade next to each other.
