    That’s killer!
I did replace the 2bbl with a Edelbrock AVS 650 and an Edelbrock intake manifold. While I was in there it allowed me to back flush the heater core and replace all of the heater and radiator hoses and clamps along with thermostat and water pump, some new paint and a correct E58 dual snorkel 4bbl air cleaner.
so now at least it looks the part!
A full tune up and bumping the timing to about 38° really woke it up! I absolutely love how it sounds when you stand on it!!! It reminds me of the old 1968-1969 14” Unsilenced air cleaners and Carter AFB carbs... An air gulping DOOOWWWWAAA!!!!
it sounds like the Bluesmobile in the Blues Brothers movie!
So I took the liberty of steaming everything under the hood, masking off everything and re-painting the valve covers and intake while they were off along with the front of the engine and water pump.

I’m doing the clean repair and repaint in stages so I don’t get carried away like I usually do and turn it into a full on restoration.
This car is a joy to drive and is like navigatingng a couch down the road! It must be the isolators I’m not used to on the pre 73 cars that make this thing just soak up the bumps while still maintaining great posture when turning. But it does have a tag that reads “Special Handling Vehicle” so it stands to reason there’s not a terrible amount of body roll.

Does the Lean Burn actually operate? Or was it all disconnected but left in place? I had a '77 Cordoba 400 with Lean Burn that gave me fits, but the engine died a horrible death when my brother overheated it. I was able to strip and sell it with the rebuilt Thermoquad for a couple hundred bucks.

Surprisingly the lean burn is all hooked up and operational! As soon as it starts to fail it will be removed!
I’m petty sure Phoenix PD maintained the car pretty well as everything is functional, even the AC works!
