I just recently purchased a 1988 Colony Park Wagon, and I'm considering putting some 15x8 Torque Thrusts or Magnum 500 wheels on it. Has anyone on tried putting this size wheel on their wagon? What backspacing and tire size did you go with? Thanks.

I like this wheel and tire combo but I'm unsure of the backspacing and tire size.

I can't answer your question about backspacing or tire size, but that's a nice looking wagon you have. Welcome to the forums.

Any tire dealer will have those specs, and with the Magnum 500's if you buy original Ford or aftermarket for intermediate Fords, 1972-1979, they will correctly fit your '88. That's a nice CP you have, and frankly, I'd put on a set of factory turbines, but that's just me. If you go for Torq-Thrust wheels, do you prefer the 'M' (chromed) or 'D' (magnesium) version?

I was thinking about the D's like on my '78 Malibu. It has turbines on it now, just want an old school hot rod look.

I prefer the D's myself. But I also like the factory turbines.
