What's not funny is that veteran posters who don't need a spelling app haven't bothered to sign up again after having been locked out. What's to appreciate is that the one needing this app has been saving valuable space here lately. How difficult is it, just to look the other way?

I suppose, he's been using his valuable time with activism fighting animal abuse:

He surely hasn't used his time for getting rid of that red X on his signature that's been on there for how many years now

No, that's not my engine or my car. That's one of my "inspiration" photos.
I will probably use that Weber triple side draft induction system, but not with that type of air cleaners.
My car is just a clapped out shell om a bare frame. Pics to follow when I get it home from the warehouse in a few weeks.

Good luck finding Weber manifolds for that eight. Strombergs aren't bad either, since they operate on vaccuum. They should feed the flathead better than the Webers of which carbouret strictly on driver's command

The engine isn't an 8 cylinder.
It's an Overhead Cam 6, base engine in Pontiac A body (Tempest) from 1966-69 and F body (Firebird) from 1967-69.
I have found that Weber carbs and aftermarket manifolds are readily available.

I don't wanna trip you up, but that doesn't look like the Poncho OHC-6.

This is a screenshot of an OHC-6

    Yep, that's it all right.
The screenshot above is a "Sprint" version, with a Quadrajet 4 barrel.
My engine is a base engine, but I will add the Weber induction setup.
    This is mine:

Oh, wait, I thought you were saying the hot Rod's engine was an OHC, but you were saying your engine was an OHC. I thought I was sticking my size 16 foot in my mouth....

Yes, I was referring to my engine. Sorry if my reply wasn't clear.
No worries; hope you didn't actually take a bite of that big foot.

    Wait....is Silvertwinkiehobo actually Bigfoot? :shocked::rofl2:

If he now bites off an equally-sized chunk off the other foot, that'll solve his problem finding fitting shoes :footinmouth:
The Quadrajet isn't the only difference...

Not bloody likely. But my late friend Ed, who believed in the existence of Bigfoot, likely would've laughed himself sick over your comment!
