An Auto Transport company came this week to pick up a barn find 37 Buick 4dr Convertible we sold. On his truck was this Ford Country Sedan that he had picked up in California and was taking it somewhere near New York City. From what I saw, the body was extremely straight and solid. Someone is getting themselves a nice Wagon.

I have never seen one! Do you have pictures?

That DOES look like a straight wagon! I don;t know that generation years very well, but I'm guessing 1974? Does anyone know for sure?

This is from the day we dragged it out of a barn last summer. Very cool and extremely solid car. We cleaned her up and got it running. Found and installed some of the missing parts. This will make a nice restoration project for the new owner.

That is very similar to my ‘38. Those are really nice Buick’s. My guess with extended rear bumper is a ‘74. The ‘73 rear bumper was more snug the the rear end. EEED45B0-13DC-4451-A8AF-84EF48170FB1.png

We had bought a few vehicles from the estate of a friend that we helped liquidate. They were all barn stored for many years. The Barn Finds website saw the Buick and the 49 Willys Overland advertised and gave them both nice commentaries. I think it actually helped us because after their weekly publication, the bidding interest increased. The 49 Willys actually exceeded our expectations selling a little higher than the Buick.

Thanks for sharing RMay, I love it. I had never seen one before like I said, and I appreciate you showing me what one looked like.

Your friend had some really nice cars. What year was the grey Olds ‘40-41? Thanks for sharing the pics.

The Olds was a 48. Despite how it looked in the barn, the interior was perfect. The other cars had some damage from critters and other environmental conditions in the barns over the years they were stored. I also found these animatronic carnival figures. The mice chewed them up a bit but so far I have 3 of them working. I had to rebuild some of the Monkey's face and make him a new hand. 20190811_162839.jpg 20191219_160954.jpg 20191219_164626.jpg 20191219_164633.jpg

I was about to ask who you went out and bagged to get spare parts. But, then I thought I had better not:whistle:
Those carnival figures look spooky enough to make even Chucky get out of harm's way and go hide somewhere. I bet, you could put them to use starring in some amateur horror films and make decent money with them

Wow, thanks for sharing RMay! There sure were some treasures in that barn. Pretty neat you got those old carnival animatronics working.
