Only 413 cubes? That many used to move Mopar sheetmetal cruise ships pretty good.

As far as fuel milage goes, the more cylinders installed equals more internal friction. What you're left with is the fun factor, in any case.
He makes quite efficient use of engine compartment space which could lead to thermal problems for the head gaskets. I wonder if he can close the hood on it

If not, he could cab up a raised hood made for a Mustang, no induction to the engine, but perhaps assist with cooling at speed?

I'm thinking that's a Triton V10 Ford used in their Super Duty trucks? Impressive he got it in there. How's the A/C? (LOL) I think I would have been happy to squeeze a 5.4 V8 under the hood, and maybe still have room for the A/C.....

A/C works great. Stock V10 Compressor with custom hoses to Ford expansion valve and dryer. Stock interior controls. No overheating . runs idling 15-20 minutes before fans cut on for 30 seconds or so then turn off. As you can see from photo. Plenty of room in front of engine A 5.4 would set back even further.

It's a P.I. V10 with a T-45 last generation 5 speed, Cobra brakes, 2.73 gears with Tru Trac diff. Great gas mileage at 75-80. Only 1700 rpm

It looks like way above average craftmanship, as if it was an original factory installation :thumbs2:

Thanks for joining up and posting. What did you do in the interior for the shifter? Are you using a Mustang console or a shifter with a boot on the floor? I'll need to figure that out on my LTD wagon at some point.

Did you use a newer K-member from a mod motor Mustang or modify the original?

It is stock tubular K-member for mod motor swaps into Fox chassis. I lowered in 1 inch from the body to get the clearance need for everything. Worked like a charm.

V10 shifter 2.jpg I'll download some more interior pics. Looks like somehow I've got two conversations started!

A picture of the shifter. I have the dash out putting new speakers in.
