https://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/d/kansas-city-1980-chevrolet-caprice/7061708727.html Microscopic pictures, but looks ok. Normal bumper filler needs. Not a fan of the M200 Trans though. I had an 80 Coupe
What makes you say it has a M200 in it? B-Body wagons usually have a TH350 or TH350C with the lock up converter, untill they went to the OD transmissions a couple of years later, then it could have a TH7004R or a TH2004R depending on the engine installed. Looks like a decent wagon, the headliner is still there, and it looks to have power windows at least.
Looks like a decent wagon to me also. Granted photos are poor and limited but no rust shows on that white paint and what interior is visible looks ok.
If I remember the 1977-79 Caprice had 350 engines with the Turbo Trans. In 1980 they went to the overdrive transmissions, the THM200 and followed by the 200-R. I think the 700R4 came out in 1982. I am sure I will be corrected if I am off. I could not find anything in the sales literature.
My Chilton manual Buick/Oldsmobile and Pontiac rear wheel drive Wagon says: 1975-83: 200C and 200-4R; 250 and 250C; 350 and 375B including 350C and the 400 1984-90: 200C with lockup and 200-4R with 4-speed overdrive capability 1984-86: 700R4 4 speed with converter lockup My 1987 Buick Wagon has a 200-4R.
He is selling it so he can afford tickets to Super-Bowl.... https://www.stubhub.com/super-bowl-tickets/grouping/542/
Only 2 left at lowest prices. $4,800. Good luck. I couldn’t imagine selling any car I own for Super Bowl tickets. Taking the family to the Super Bowl - cashing out that IRA.
