Wagons in vintage Street scenes

It's difficult to say. My first thought was some sort of air jet blown at it, like they used to do at Sears department stores in the early 60s with plastic balls blown into the air, in order to entertain kids riding up the escalators

Yeah, almost as if the fotographer lived in that apartment where he shot the photo from his window. In which case, he would have had to wait months or even years, in order to get such a vivid color combination. What first caught my attention was that two-toned Olds at the front and that '55 Chevy adjacently behind it. Both colored Salmon pink.
It almost looks like the '58 Ford in the following image happens to be a Ranchero:

 

This is somewhere in Canada, most likely.
Can anyone spot how I came to that conclusion (and it has nothing to do with the box truck on the left side of the pic...)?

 

Yes. The Canadian 64 Valiant used the Dart body with the Valiant front end.
