Very cool and very unique. I always thought that the producers of the movie, Cheaper by the Dozen with Steve Martin, should have obtained one of these to use as the family car.

Heres a Craigslist ad for a Pontiac airport limo wagon with a 72" stretch. This one is in California, but there are no photos with the ad.

    Thanks for the welcomes!
Wow, weld them together!?!?!?! that would be something to see. lol. I do have a license to drive bus. :yippee: Sounds like a huge job, and just getting them running and looking nice might be enough work all ready?!?!!?
I up loaded a few pictures to the "garage", not sure if that was the right place to do that for you all to see or not, beings I am still finding my way around here

If it were 2 Toronado lomo wagons, welding them up might be fun, but what a beach to park them.

Have you got your work cut out for you or what! You should buy a share in a woodgrain company! Holy smokes! At least 6 rolls! usually 24" wide X 20 feet, from JC Whitney. Getting the old stuff off will be a 6 day job. and building a garage long enough to do it, might be something else too.

At least you've got the right engine to move them along.

I need one. It would go great next to my Alaskan Shelby car.

An Alaskan Shelby? Is it what it sounds like? or is it some other unique creation?
I am thinking of building a garage, and the length I need to build it just increased. I wasn't sure if I was going to redo the wood grain or not. Leaning toward not. Maybe paint a 2nd color in that area? But getting the old stuff off will be a bear. Any recommendations to get it off? Sand, scrape, or blast it off? lol

My 86 Shelby Omni was sold new At Ankorage Dodge. Its #71. Also delivered there was #70, #72, and possibly #73. My dream is to finish the restoration then drive it back up there. Plenty of money and Loritabs and my back might stand 2 weeks in an Omni. lol
