    I think the gorge must be some kind of locale for him.....much like you would say "I've taken this car up to the Butte or the Gila on multiple occasions with no issues" Something on that order.

    I think with the wood appliqué missing on both sides of the front valance, the front end is probably off another Grand Marquis. But hey at that price, I’d order some sample DiNoc swatches and fix that problem. I thinks it’s still a nice example at that price point. Yes the Gorge is quite an attraction just about an hour or so depending on traffic outside of Portland. So it’s like us saying made several trips to Toas, and Santa Fe. Wish I were closer. As appointed as it is I would also guess it’s a LS

    He's referring to the Columbia River gorge - for him, it would be highway 84 going east from Portland, running along the south side. The Columbia is wide, but there are sheer cliffs running along the south side for miles, and a lot on the north side (Washington) as well.....
