1976 Caprice front end grafted onto it - that is a great looking front end! https://www.ebay.com/itm/184055272815
Oops, lost my message. Anyway, the seller was correct about one thing - it does have a good rear bumper.
Ouch, lots of rust; in the front fenders, rear quarter panels and the rockers. I think I can even see some above the driver side doors.
This is the kind of Wagon I don't mind being derbied after it's parted out, then again it might be too rusty.
Got to $1,925 reserve not met. Wonder what he wanted for this peach. Hopefully he didn’t buy it for $3 grand and thought he could flip it.
When I lived in Chicago, I probably wouldn’t have had an issue with this car either. You forget the ravages of salts and chemicals when you leave that part of the country.
It says this car is in Bethlehem. I lived in that area in 1986, when these cars were 10 years old. They looked like that then. Now, it's what 43 years old? I'd say at least this car will die with it's boots on. Whomever the derby dude is that thought he got a score will be in for some disappointment when he takes a good hard first whack. I have a feeling this will fold up like an accordion at the end of a Polish wedding.
