Went to the Turkey Rod Run at Daytona, did two days this year but still didn't see it all but an incredible show with thousands of cars. The first five were in the show the rest were in the car corral but this is just a small fraction of all the wagons that were there. The 48 woody was 45k and marked as sold, the 90 Oldsmobile was priced at 6500, the 79 Dodge was 7500, the Valiant was around 6k, don't remember exactly, the ranch wagon was 6500, and the 79 pinto was said to be all original and 9k. The car corral is always interesting because there are certainly some good deals but a lot of what's there are priced for a different reality. I know the sellers want to leave some room for negotiating but I dunno.
Thanks for posting. I missed the show again this year. The Valiant doesn't look half bad till you see the school bus yellow paint inside. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/2002763483158507/
Man! That 58 FORD! I like the "Hotel California" woody too. Thanks for sharing the photos. Looks like you had a good time.
