The fact that it has a fairly low level of optional equipment could keep the price from going much above the reserve of $25,000... Had cruise control, but that's about it - no PW, no PL, no power seat, no tilt steering wheel, no covered headlamps. Does have AC though.
Usually crazy for an as new 427 wagon but this one does not appeal to me. As Krash says not heavily optioned and for me that color never looked good on anything.
I truly hate those wheels. Rallys or even factory 1969 Caprice wheel covers would be a huge improvement.
It seems strange that it doesn't have the 427 badges on the front fenders. Pretty clean car overall. That module sticking down from the dash pad above that digital clock he has in there tells me it has the Comfortron automatic HVAC system.
I don't mind the Dog dish's, but not with white wall tires. Strange to see the small aircleaner on a 427 car. Ours had a large dual snorkel if I remember correctly, but it was the dual exhaust version. I can't remember if it had 427 badges on it, I bet you did not get 427 badges with the low HP version and woodgrain sides. Or it could be a Canadian thing.
I talked to the dealer of the yellow ebay wagon on the phone. They are looking to get mid-40s for the car. Interesting that the dealer runs an auction in Canada, where the car previously sold for $33920 CDN. https://www.okotokscarauction.com/carauction/1969-chevrolet-kingswood-estate-station-wagon/
