I never though that swivel buckets would be made available on a wagon. Watching the video, it looks like there's notable steering play and he's fighting to keep it driving in a straight line
In the narrative of the wagon he mentioned that during the refurbishment the “non factory” seats went in. Still very cool - Swing out to greet ya, swing in to seat ya”
Ther're a lot of other oddities: the Suburban 2 dr was never sold in a "spectator" version, the "spectator" (third seat) was only available on the 9 passengers (which was a 4 dr) Problem also with a button which says "top lift" !!!!! Maybe used for turning the the A/C because ther's no A/C position on the heater commands. The swivels seats were sold from 59 models but i doubt it was available on a 2dr wagon ... And the swivels seats on this car are not '59 but maybe 60 or 61 from a Chrysler or Imperial.
Certainly the color combo, A/C and other options sold that car. Even the swing our seats, maybe not a true option I’m sure attracted some folks. It really is a lovely car, and the 2 door feature has to be a bit more uncommon than is 4 door family member.
