Irvin Sachs New and Used Car lot located at 2535 North Broad St. in Philadelphia, PA. Amazingly the buildings have survived with additions to the garages on the left-hand side of the property and the lot is still in use in the automotive trade. Today the Matrix Auto Canter a “10-minute oil change” business that also performs “Body Fender & Frame Work” is located there.
The Blackstock Lumber Co. building visible on the far left of the picture was established in 1912 and the property was sold recently after the Company closed. The Lumber store location apparently was at 1039 Elliot Ave. West which is about three miles northwest of the center of the City in the West Queen Ann neighborhood.
Walter E. Allen’s Chrysler-Plymouth Dealership was located at 13th St and North Harvey Ave in Oklahoma City, OK. How it looks today:
