That black and red '57 Buick has a Chevrolet roof on it. Buick, Olds, and Pontiac all had the two side windows spearated from the main read window by a division post, Chevrolet did not. Interesting.

Also, that black and red 57 Buick with the Chevrolet roof, looks like it has the body and trim of a 57 Pontiac.

I'm confused by your comment here. That '57 Pontiac looks like every other '57 Pontiac two door hardtop I've seen. Are you saying that BOP didn't have a two door hardtop available?

I believe the black and red car is a Pontiac, not a Buick. I also am familiar with the roof you are referring too. However, I can find plenty of photos of 57 Pontiacs on the inner-webs showing the same roof as this one has.

Here's another Red and Black 57 Pontiac, this one is a Chieftain:

    A couple others:

They all appear to have the same "Chevrolet" roof, not the one with the dividing bars.

Well how about that - I thought that was a Buick grill insert, not a Pontiac. So only Buick and Olds had the three window rear, the Pontiac and Chevy did not.

I stand (or sit in this case) corrected.

I'm still not clear on what you are saying. Buick and Olds had two door hardtops available in 1957 as well.

Kevin, what I was commenting on was the back glass on the Pontiac. I originally thought it was a Buick, and Buick had three rear glass at back, like this from my 57 Olds -
    upload_2019-9-14_8-17-41.jpeg

Note the division posts between teh back glass and the two sidelight glass. I mistakenly thought that all B-O-P used the three lites, with only the 57 Chevrolet having one solid glass. I stand corrected, the Chevy and the Pontiac used the single glass, the Buick and Olds had the three read glass.

Nothing to do with two door, four door, etc.

    Make sense?

Ah I gotcha. Never noticed that on the Buicks and Oldsmobiles.

After a very cold October, we've had a nice few weeks here in November. This past Sunday the boys and their Dog and I decided to go for a little drive in the Fury. It's possible it will be the last one of the year since snow is in the 5 day forecast.

On Veteran's day my oldest son rode along with me as I traveled to a couple of our dealerships (since there was no school)
It turned out it was a Plymouth day!
    We found a 63, 64 & 65 all in one day!

    Here's the 63

    And here's the 65

    Happy late birthday Jeremiah. :birthday2:
Those cruise-in photos sure brought back old memories. Enjoy them while you still can get around.

I assume so, but don't know for certain. The guy that was there didn't know anything about it.
