We have five secluded acres in the Florida boonies. Perfect. Besides the garage there is what I call a machine shed. It's 18X36 with three cars and 33 cars worth of parts, more or less. Then we have a 12X20 workshop filled with junk with a carport on each end.
Moving someday to 1/2 half acre at the edge of town where I was from. Besides the 20X20 attached garage there is room for a nice pole building. My problem is I ran out of steam and no longer do much more than check the oil and dream.
To me the 20X20 garage is gonna be two small but we looked at lots of places with no garage and some with no driveway. How can anyone live without a driveway?

I realize that back when some of those homes were built people didn't have cars. So there was no need for a driveway. Some lots are and were so tiny there was no room anyway.
Even on our cul-de-sac before in Illinois the homes across the road shared one drive and split to garages with a common center wall.
Then came those tiny garages I call Model T garages. Barely large enough for those types cars.
Today many new homes have multicar garages plus out buildings for other toys. I've never lived in a big city where people commute to work and live in condos or apartments. I need at least a drive way and a one car garage. Even if I only put junk inside it.

I rented a house in Estes Park that was built in 1929. The house had a tiny garage that was suitable for cars back than.

Yes indeed. Although I am out of winter mode, I would not mind a ride on a snowmobile right now. Snowmobiling was one of our pastimes back in Vermont.;)

I saw someone drive by me with a very similar looking car as the one in the picture you posted. I was driving Rosie, (the new car)

Wow. How much did that run you if you don't mind me asking? I didn't think any shops still did that. Looks like it is in pretty good shape.

Nice to hear from you Parkwood. Glad to see you're progressing on the restoration.
