    I'd say a full inspection is needed. If you look closely at the front of the engine, the intake is full-on rust-covered. That's the iceberg tip. But on the other hand, the black with gold was my favorite form of these cars.

    Looks pretty sweet to me. I agree that it does seem under priced. The engine rust just looks like what happens when you install bare metal parts on an engine.

    So you don't think salted roads have anything to do with how bright that rust is? I've turned wrenches here in Western WA, both shadetree and professionally for a long time, and I've only seen that heavy a rust on cars that sat for decades, or came from the rust belt.

    That interior isn’t original. There’s no door panels. Just black and whit vinyl. You also notice he’s cagey. “Great interior” not original interior in great shape.

    One of the pictures is at a car show, wonder how long ago that was? What they got tied up in that engine compartment

    It looks like a bare cast iron part that was installed on an engine and been there for a few years. I bet I could take a bare cast iron part and set it in my driveway during the humid summer and it would look like that in a couple of months.
