Well the car certainly does have a nice trunk, what the rest of the car looks like who Knows. There is a History of Ford Full Size cars, then list of options in the ad at least. We know that it has a V8, but what V8? the same 3 pictures of the trunk repeat 3 more times, very odd ad. https://louisville.craigslist.org/ctd/d/cicero-1971-ford-ltd-2dr-coupe-white/6949861763.html
Link to more pics. Sadly only three trunk pics on their website. http://mag-indy.ebizautos.com/detail-1971-ford-ltd-2dr_coupe-used-19274250.html
One of the prime selling points if you're gonna sell a car to a "Cleaner" or "Fixer". Think about Mr. Wolfe (Winston.....please) in Pulp Fiction - wouldn't he have been happier driving an LTD coupe to the yard with a body rather than a crappy 6 cyl '73 Nova? Mmmmm Mmmmmm......Now that is a clean trunk....
Yeah. Thank you for the history lesson. That trunk is really awesome. If you’re gonna feature the 28,000 mile trunk with 15 pictures. Take the paper wrapper out of it. If the white exterior and red interior are as awesome as the trunk. It’s a honey. I did go to that extra link. Thanks for posting. Engine looks like a 390. Nice wheel covers. No air. Looks ok. I wouldn’t think 9g’s is too bad. No a/c is gonna hurt it.
I was to Lazy to go to that site without a Hot Link Last night, according to the Aircleaner info the engine is a 390 2bbl, the car is in very nice original condition, low option though, I like the vintage FM Converter!
I did click the link and I did get to see the entire car. It is a nice looking car for certain. But the CL ad is just bizarre. Thanks for sharing it Cammer.
