    Hahaha! Seems like I remember the conversation now. I think it's getting time to sell though.

    Man, I know it's tough to chose sometimes, but I must say I wish I was in your position having to decide between these two beautiful wagons.

    Thanks! I appreciate it. The one on the left will probably need to find a good home pretty soon. I just haven't advertised it yet.

    I doubt you will have any trouble selling it. It's a car I think many folks would love to own. I know I would.

    Started the wagon just to keep battery charged. Soon the project of the engine replacement will happen..

    I got my red 91 OCC back from the custom shop on Friday. Immediately had to replace a turn signal bulb. I must install the grille to make it presentable. I still have interior stuff to finish, and tint on the driver's side. as soon as I get the stuff done, I will post pictures. I understand that one of the guys from the shop posted some pics on facebook.

    If you don't detail your question to specifics, it might get misunderstood as to imply swinger action :whistle:

    The new glow plug relay for the 85 300TD arrived today so I spent 20 minutes installing it and checking all the glow plug connections, it's nice to have all the glow plugs firing off for correct amount of time again the engine start up is back to being nice and smooth.

    Saw this rough 84 Grand Marquis today while the owner was on the property, seeing to the demolition of the buildings that fell in.

    The car's rusted all over, moldy and a building fell on it so the roof and roof rack are trash but the glass seems OK at first glance; no cracks or anything, it's just dirty. I was considering picking up the glass (but not the car) if I can get it cheaply enough, just to have some spare glass on hand. I know this 84's glass doesn't all match up with my 90 but I don't think the rear doors back changed from 84 - 91, did it?

    Were I to buy glass for the rear doors back, to remove mold particles that are likely on the glass, can I:

    Clean the glass with water and soap and rine off;
    Soak the glass in vinegar;
    Soak it in water (to remove vinegar remnants; )
    Scrub it in said water;
    Soak it in baking soda laden water (to finally remove any remaining smells )
    and finally polish it to remove mold?

    I have no experience with this and I'm not quite sure if this is an OK or stupid idea considering the car it's installed in is a real piece of work. None of the glass seems deformed from the roof collapse but I don't really know, do I? I really don't want to put junky replacement parts in my 90 and I may never need these but if I do, it's nice to have something on hand.

    IIRC, all the glass is the same. The only difference would be whether the tailgate glass is heated or not. Damn. Over in Pennsylvania. If it were here in WA, I'd make an offer for the drivetrain and the turbine wheels for my Ranchero.
