I can smell the burning skin from repeated use of the paddles. I’m sorry Mrs. Lipshitz. It’s dead.

Bought it and love the car. It is better than the pics show and it is beautiful. Got it for good price and now will restore it even further. Let me know where I can find that elusive 3rd row seat. :)

Very nice. It's not a simple matter to put in the third seat. You'd have to change the second seat, too, because, in three-seat wagons, the second seat is split 1/3-2/3 with the small part folding forward to allow access to the third seat.

Welcome, and I’m glad you got it for a price that you were pleased with. That’s always the main thing if both the buyer and seller feel good. PS welcome and look forward to more pictures of your new baby.

Thanks. Yes I saw that 2nd row is different. It needs that 3rd row to justify the 20 plus feet of car that is driving down the road. :). I live in la and own a rare Porsche and a Mclaren and this gets more attention and smiles. My daughter said I should get rid of the other cars. Great forum and will post pics.

You could contact derbyists (sad as that might end up being for the car, at least something's saved even if it's not in the best shape.)

I know where a derbyist lives in Clarion, PA. He has a 71 - 76 Olds now but I don't know what year it is or if it's a 3 seater. I don't know if he keeps parts for long or at all.

thank you so much. I would love to find that seat. How would I contact him? I can give you my contact directly if that helps. I am somewhat struggling since the car is so pristine it is a shame to change it from factory but I would like to make changes that can be undone. That being said...I would love to know where to get additional parts as well such as door trim plates and dash switches etc.

Are you in LA as in Los Angeles or Louisiana? If it's California then I might have a line on the second and third row seat. I'd have to see if I can get all the bolts etc. first though.

Los Angeles actually. That would be great and I will pay a finders fee if it works out. :)
