It is a nice car in nice shape. I'd love to own it. Just need money and a parking space!

That's a pretty and unique ride. Are all Crown Landau's red? I've only ever seen one of these back in the late 90's at one of the Carlisle events.

I love how low-option it is. A/C. Tilt wheel but no cruise. As he notes, no power windows, no power locks. No clock. AM-only radio, but it is also 8-track. No speedometer cluster options (trip odometer, safety sentinel, fuel economy gauge). No rear defogger. No power antenna. The driver's side mirror is remote control, but the passenger-side mirror is not. The exterior mirrors are body color, not chrome. Unfortunately, he doesn't show many photos, although he says he has many.

    The car sure looks good.

It appears not. The white car above is a Crown Landau. What gives it away is the stainless steel "roof bar" that runs over the roof just behind the door window openings. According to the '76 Olds brochure, the Crown Landau option featured the stainless steel roof bar, hood ornament, "padded" top (they didn't call it a vinyl top), and color-matched wheel discs. The last one, though, appears to be missing on the white car as those are not color-matched wheelcovers like the red car above has. Perhaps they've been changed, or maybe those spoke wheelcovers could have ordered in place of the color-matched ones.

I actually like the looks of the white one, I like the 2 tone interior, and the signature 1/2 vinyl top is somewhat subdued

Another time capsule. Love seeing how these 70's cars are optioned, especially the big GM's that are showing up on this site. Each car is so unique. This one has me guessing that maybe a dealer ordered for inventory. Looks good, but as jaunty75 says low optioned. A walk in may see a deal with the low stickker. Anyway, $7500 is a more realistic starting point than $10000.
