I wouldn't chuck the cans, whatever you do. They're worth way more each, as coversation pieces

Hahahaha that's awesome, ive run across a can of that once or twice. What part of texas are you in?

On topic: I drove the car to Houston Raceway Park where im the Announcer for the Friday Night Drags. Nothing special to report there, couple thumbs up on the highway though (starting to realize that happens alot with this car lol) and ive got another track tomorrow for a photography gig.
But, last night my friend and I decided to go cruise the beach in Galveston, afterwards Her and I stopped at sonic and soon after our food arrived a gentleman asked if he could take a picture of my wagon and stated he took his driving test in an 80 model Impala the same color but in far worse shape. So we swapped stories for about 10 mins or so, Real cool random encounter over station wagons once again. I love this car. haha

The British say, "In for a Penny, in for a Pound." I always wondered if they did so with tongue-in-cheek. Those Torq-Thrust D's are perfect for your Chevelle. Stick with it.
Mikemerkury, you got a pair to an inside straight there! I'm digging the color on the Pontiac, and I really love Panther-based wagons.

Dang Fannie, that's a bummer. I hope all goes well with your renovation project. Once that's out of the way you can focus on getting the Beauville back together and on the road. ;)

Well, at least the heater core won't be needed for summer driving. She could just by-pass that, for now, with a piece of heater hose

Fannie: You won't get this summer back. To paraphrase someone much smarter than myself a good car today is better than a perfect car tomorrow.

Aw, Fannie, that's a shame! I hope you and your family are all right! I have a friend in AB, whose daughter fell off her horse a few days ago, and needed surgery to pin her femur. They're now back home, and their daughter's doing fine, but this is on top of Kitty's due pregnancy, which should happen any day now!
