I was talking with a friend and sending him pics of my brother's '88 LeSabre T-Type coupe and '99 Dakota. And then I thought, the wagon guys would probably dig the LeSabre..... He's owned the LeSabre since new. Don't recall exactly, but I think it has something like 15,000 miles on it. Been garaged like an '80's Ferrari living at the repair shop. The Dakota is a '99 5.2 that is easily past R/T spec. Cam-rockers-ignition-ported intake-headers-exhaust-Eibach springs-rear bar-Dakota-specific Bilsteins-shift kit-suspension & frame coated in rush-prevention treatment-etc. Both receive better car than many children do today..... Ironically, both are for sale. With twin daughters likely headed to college next year, it's an ugly choice they're making.
A T-Type LeSabre in ordinary condition would be a yawn, but one like this....WOW. Should bring pretty good money if you can get a collector interested. Dakota should do well too because of the condition. He should use specialized publications to advertise both vehicles. I'd recommend..... http://www.cars-on-line.com/
Oh, yah, he's a big fan of Cars On Line.... What he shouldl have done was got them to Mecum's when they were here a few months ago. They would have been perfect for their 'driver' times.
