This morning I put a fuel pump it my parts wagon. Started it up and drove it around the lot. Later that evening I sold it. The carcass is going to New York to be hacked up so that other wagons may live on.

For the last 10 months I've just went out and started my wagon occasionally but it has mostly just been sitting in the garage. It got to where I had to jump start it every couple weeks but between my dad's Chevelle and my Chevelle and work I didn't have much time for it. Thought about selling it and then in January I decided to take another job in New Orleans about 35 miles from home. I've been driving my beat up Grand Caravan that I got after my wife got most of the good out of it. I decided to put a new battery in it about 3 weeks ago and then my blower control module (resistor) went out. Replaced it and the plug and started driving it to work 3 or 4 days a week. I forgot how much I missed my wagon. I'm going to replace the tires in next couple of weeks since they are getting to that age. Couldn't resist getting a picture of it at my new job last week.

She's looking good 1tire. I'm glad that cooler heads prevailed. And congrats on the new job.

Also lowered it 3 inches all the way around.

That's the tallest air cleaner I've ever seen. You could just as well mount a Tri-Five oil bather in its place, as a hood popper gag

Yea - it is a 4" tall oval track Frame reusable filter and the bottom hat has a 1" spacer on it. I will most likely by taking the pacer out - not sure the scoop I am putting on is tall enough for it all. It is just what I had laying around.

Got my new tires in at the shop this morning, hoping to have time to mount them tommorrow. I went with a 225/60R17 for the front and a 245/50R18 on the rear.

After years of driving around with a fake vanity plate that says "64 FURY" on the front I decided to swap it out for the original 1963 plate.

Looking for a 215 70 R15 with White Wall tire that has a review and is under $120 per tire. I've only found one so far, without a review; Cooper Trendsetter SE 90000003273. Has anyone here tried these? They're just under $80 per tire.

I worked at a Cooper tire dealer and the trendsetter and Cobra are the 2 Cooper tires I would try not to sell. They were terrible to balance and most came back with shifted belts with in 10,000 miles. Check out the Hankook Optimo H724. They should offer it in a white wall and I've sold more than a few to my friends and have never heard a complaint from them about the tires.
If Hankook doesn't offer the white wall in that size, check out Toyo Extensa, they may have it in a white wall and they are also really good tires.
