Lengthy listing, including a picture of a transport ship just to show you that he'll get it to the docks for you in case anyone really wants to transport this across the ocean.

Supposedly tons of photos, but none of them load when I view the auction.

Well.... it has new tires! One shot has four flat white walls. Then there is the motor void of belts had hoses but then a bill for oil change and getting it running.

Besides new hood hinges, it has the dreaded Clamshell tailgate sag, that usually means a cracked regulator. Really base model car, the only options I see are 3rd row seat, A/C, Tinted glass, Bumper rub strips, and a roof rack. I will give the seller credit as they are showing pretty much everything on the car.

it even still has the original Bead style Cat in it, I am surprised to see that as the owner could have got at least $35 selling it.

This is probably a decent vehicle, but everyone will tear it apart from the pics and nobody but the derbyists will buy it, and bam! another one gone. I don't know, if I was a Pontiac man in rust country and really wanted a rust free wagon, I could overlook the 12-1400 bill to transport it and get it. Hell, these were pretty extinct in PA by the late 80s.

I'm in Pennsylvania and the only place I see them now is in a derbyist's yard. Keep in mind I was born in 1991 so I never really got to see them around in the first place.

Yes, by the mid to late 80s these were starting to be major rustbuckets in my part of PA. The kind you'd be embarrassed to be seen in. Kind of a shame really, but they were just used up old relics

The seller is a member here. He only posts what he has to flip. I saw this car on our local Craigslist for $1500. I went back an hour later to post it here but it was already gone.

I was born earlier than 1991 but after these cars left production and I still don't remember ever seeing these big wagons growing up. The only place I ever see them is in my driveway and I've seriously never seen another one on the road. I think the Suburban had become the soccer mom car of choice by 1984-1985 (the minivan by 1990) and the wagons were seen as dated relics of another time. And the social climbers wouldn't want to be seen in one. I remember my friend's mom had a 1975-1976 4 door big Buick (9-10 years old at the time) and it was seen as a poor person's beater with nothing but problems.

This car looks like a decent starting point for a clamshell wagon if you want one, the lack of options will turn off a lot of people though. And the tail gate sag is just one of those iffy things, it could be the gate not fully raised but more often it's the cracked gate...

I lived in Ontario and these cars had a 5 year life span max. They would just rust to oblivion in no time at all. I some how recall the 77 and later cars suddenly getting much better at rust and mechanics. I remember cars rarely getting to 100k before hitting the scrap yard.

Wow! what are the odds of two of these at the same time. My mistake. Like I said I went back to look at the ad and it was gone.
