Well, it has taken me a while, but I finally got some good pictures of the old Rambler. Some of you had requested them. It looks a little different now. It has new tires.

I created an album in Flickr. Here's the link.

I'll probably be putting it up for sale soon. I've run out of garage space and something needs to go.

I assume you got it all cleaned out and got it running? It should sell fairly well, then. It's a bummer you feel the need to sell it, but you just have to find that one collector with Rambler parts, so I honestly wish you good luck to find that person.

Could have passed for a somewhat vintage photo, had the photographer have though to wait a few seconds

It was running when I bought it. That was never a problem. I've driven it nearly 1,000 miles without issue. It did need some cleaning up though. There are lots of collectors of AMC/Nash/Hudson/Rambler cars out there. They have quite a following. I have been really surprised at how readily available the parts are.

Garage space hasn't been an issue until lately. I had another wagon in the shop. I had to bring it home until I can get it finished. Waiting to get the woodgrain put back on. After that I can finish up everything else.

That's a cool little wagon, I like it. It looks to be fairly solid just needs some love and $$$.

That's cool that it was a runner when you bought it, and my apologies for assuming otherwise. As stated above, it just needs love and dollars to make it even more special.

Those Ramblers were Romney’s finest hour. Had a pink ‘60 coupe. That thing was indestructible.

    I LIKE IT! :thumbs2:
Looks great as is, but there is still work to be done and becomes your new hobby.
Which is how I like it. A useful car to drive and a weekend project now and then.
Just do NOT rip her apart for some misguided full restoration please. That happens all too often with good intentions and ends 15+ years later being sold in cardboard boxes.

Sweet little long roof, keep us posted on progress!

Love it.... Especially love the ‘60 NM Bernallio county numbered plate. Did the car come from Albuquerque? You’re in TN right?

Great paint on that thing. Love the two tone green. Are you still planning on the wood grain? I like the way it looks now.

It looks like the engine isn't sitting in the middle. But, a couple inches to the right, instead

Some car drivetrains are biased to one side to offset torque on acceleration. Heck, even Babe's 351W and C4 are biased to the right.

There's not much of a floorpan hump visible, to judge from here
