All those options and yet no luggage rack. How could the original purchaser have overlooked that?

As beautiful as the car's exterior and interior are, the engine compartment is the exact opposite. They couldn't take a little time to clean it up and paint the air cleaner?

Agree totally about the engine compartment. That's a real turn-off.

Rare walnut mist paint and power antenna(mine in windshield).

When I that much engine compartment scale it usually means there is more lurking other areas. The spare tire plastic trim is faded a lot more than other panels, maybe a donor from another car?

It will be interesting to see where this ends up at price, especially considering the time of year.

The underside might be Zebart that's peeling off (?), but I'm also curious about the difference between the condition of the exterior paint and the engine compartment (even the alternator bracket and condenser are rusted). It looks like the inner fenders might have been sanded and I think 1975 valve covers are blue out of the factory (though some 1974 "red" could have sneaked through). Does anyone see an exhaust system?

Well, he’s sitting right at $10k. It is a nice example but the engine/compartment and underneath are a bit unnerving. Wonder what the reserve is? Also, not to knitpick, is there something going on with the front left hand side of the bumper? Looks like the lens is broken and it’s seems a bit askew.

IMG_0411.JPG IMG_0410.JPG 60Merc- you are right, the driver front parking lense is broke, there is a chunk missing from the impact strip on that corner, and the plastic air dam area(technical term) in lower bumper is warped.

Not trying to pick apart this car, the more I look at it the more I notice.
    -driver's dash corner damaged
-ding in upper right of tailgate and looks like a few dings on both driver side doors but hard to tell with the reflections of the indoor fluorescent light pics. The pics don't show the exterior well.
    - no hood ornament?

The options ordered on this car are unique. It has almost every single interior option except the litter pocket and I cannot see the map/dome lights(but will assume it does). The rare significant ones:
    -dual power seats
    -color matched seat belts
    -speed alert
-automatic climate control A/C although standard on Park Ave, I've only seen this on 4 Estate wagons/Lesabres(including mine )
    -deluxe steering wheel with tilt/telescope
    -factory 8-track

On the exterior, there are minimal options.
    -power antenna
    -bumper guards
-base wheelwell/rocker trim instead of wide rocker
    -passenger side remote mirror
    -fender/bodyside moldings

At any rate, it is a rare wood delete car in a rare paint color. Hope it goes to a good home.

Boy—- $2,900 in two days! Not a bad profit. You’d think he would have the decentcy to at least use some different pics, or maybe he hasn’t even paid for it yet, or picked it up. Should answer answer his add and offer $11,000 for it.
