Gee that is a nice looking wagon.

And you don't see many considering the made 121,419 of them that year.

Saw that. The place that's selling it is well known in Southern California - Cars for Causes - a charity. Vehicles get donated, and all proceeds go to various charities.

Would assume the bidding/value right now is in the 429 block.

At an age, when the condition of the woodie and trim can be deplorable,it looks damn near perfect! The problems with the paintjob are nothing, compared to fixing up worn out old woodie...Oh,to have the money handy...

I didn't read the listing - they didn't actually call it a 'woodie', did they?

No - they simply call it an "LTD".

Yep... I watch alot of their auctions. They get alot of neat old cars occasionally. Before I bought my 72 Kingswood, they had a nice 1973 Buick Estate Wagon... green on green on green and it had the custom interior. It didnt have woodgrain though. :( It was totally rust free. I was on the brink of buying it, then the lady that had the wagon I have now called me and said she would sell. The Buick sold for a lousy $1400... I paid alot more for my crappy car.... still cant get it running right.

I wish I had of bought the Buick now.

I hope its not bought just for the engine. It needs the luggage rack placed back on as well. Looks like some rust work is needed on the car rear storage pan.

Its not a DFRS model... I asked and they replied no seats back there.. only storage.
