Car wound up in New Mexico. Very nice wagon, needed a few things, but it’s up and running well.

It's a beauty. Looks like it has the same interior trim level as my '76, but with a few more options. I confess I'm a little disappointed that it ended up so far away, since it's unlikely I'll ever get to see it at a car show. That's assuming you intend ever to show it. Consider it -- you might not win anything, the general car show goers' tastes being what they are, but you may inspire someone else's love for wagons).

However you plan to enjoy it, I hope you do so for many years.

We had a ‘76 growing up. The only changes I made to the car, I got new tires and put the “deluxe” wheel covers (full disks with the slots) on it. It really dressed it up nicely. Oh and I did replace the back bumper with a new one. The one on it had a few little rust issues under the bumper stickers. Taking it to Santa Fe this weekend for a run to see a private car collection. Have a ‘60 CP and an ‘83. So the ‘77 fit on nicely. Thank you for your nice reply. If you ever make it this direction you’ve got a ride coming.

No. I live on the west side of Albuquerque. PS is that a ‘68 Commuter in your photo? Haven’t seen that beauty around.

Well hello neighbor! I'm up at the North end of RR (near Santa Ana star) The '68 wagon now lives in Hazleton, PA and was a 428 car. It was a neat ride. Did you happened to have a '59 Colony Park too a few years back? I remember seeing a nice '59 CP a few times but haven't in a while....(I'm a sucker for 59 Mercs). Small world, huh?

It is a small world. I had a black ‘59 CP in high school. Many moons ago (lol). I currently have a Bronze ‘60 CP, and a tan and bronze ‘57 Montcalire. Love those ‘50’s and late model Mercs too. I even like the later model one ‘86 Grand Marquis. Sorry to hear the ‘68 has left the area. It always makes me nervous when I see a nice southwest car move back the rust belt.
