Other than the 250 I6 engine this car is loaded for a Ventura of the era, it's a Hatch Back with A/C, Power Steering & Brakes, Auto Trans, AM/FM Radio, Tilt Column & remote drivers side mirror are the options that I can see, oddly optioned with the base engine, dog dish wheel covers, no bumper rub strips, or even any wheel well trim. Very nice condition but you have to like Green!!!!! The car even has the base interior & steering wheel, odd to see the base steering wheel with a tilt Column! Anyone buying a Tilt column usually at least sprung for the 3 spoke custom cushion wheel. The asking price is pretty high at $10,500 for car with zero performance options but it sure looks well preserved and looks like you could just drive it home anywhere. The seller looks to be operating a a salvage yard https://desmoines.craigslist.org/cto/d/1974-pontiac-ventura-54k/6678813037.html
A few more pic's I think I would have removed the exhaust pipe from the back seat before taking the 1st picture.
That thing looks pretty cherry. I like everything about it and I could live with the green. I've never driven a 250-6 with A/C, but I can only imagine you would have to brace yourself while going down the highway at a steady speed for when the compressor engaged to keep your face from slamming into the dash/windshield. Is that a weird reflection or is that primer on the rear bottom inside corner of the driver's door?
I know the price is crazy, I have driven Pontiac OHC-6's with A/C and a 2-speed automatic and it was OK on the highway, but it had 207 HP compared to this cars 155 HP. I think you are correct about the primer on the bottom of the door, good eye.
That 250 had 105 HP in '74, which made the A/C kicking on all that much more of a bother. The Chevy engine ratings from '72 on were SAE net, and ranged from 100 down to 100, then back to 105 HP between those three years, according to my Motor 1975 manual.
