I didn't know that people tipped cows over for a prank, way back when. An average cow weighs in at around 1,100 lbs. (600 KG) But today's news, up here and in the US, says that pranksters are tipping the 1,300 lb (725KG) Smart Cars. So weight is a 'safety' feature. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/pranksters-go-smart-car-tipping/article1253835/
Sounds similar to the early days of the VW bug. Myself and a number of friends "allegedly" put a high school teacher's VW in a hallway between apartment buildings......sideways. I also remember a "story" about one being dissasembled, put in some guys basement and reasembled. Not really sure about that one. Just a "story" that went around.
Forgot about the VWDubs. I saw some guys lift one up onto a parking meter once. Try that with a big old woodie.
Back in the days when I was going to school in Europe we used to do pranks like that to teacher's or other student's cars. Small cars could be easily lifted by four guys and we used to put them between lamp posts or at some other funny location. We weren't damaging the cars though. That's vandalism. Now, try to do that with my 4300lbs full size wagon
Some a-holes tipped our car over a few years back. Came out to the back and found it sitting on it's side. Nothing for them to brag about though, since it was a Subaru Justy.
I've heard of frat pranks where they disassemble a VW bug (old one) and reassemble it in the target's room.......
ha ha ha. im gonna keep that in mind.....a friend wants a smart car...if he gets one, ill have to turn it sideways in his garage!!!
While they never actually did it,a friend of mine told me(when we were kids in the early 70's)that he and other neighbourhood kids were planning on picking up my father's 1960 NSU Sport Prinze and hide it in the bushes...Me and some other classmates once picked up a teacher's Karmann Ghia, turned it around and placed it in the next parking spot over...
i saw a picture once of a VW bug sitting on top of the steel poles that guard fire hydrants in parking lots.
