    Well--------------- I've never had an 86 Mercedes.:90:

Tyler, now I understand. Maybe this is why so many vehicles that look great on those "lists" don't sell.

Does anybody know of a steering wheel adapter that will fit this car? I want to put a nice steering wheel on my car, and I can’t find anything that would work.

I depends on the wheel. If you have a 3 or 5 bolt, the Grant and their adapter will fit. You just have to make sure the dish/adapter combo is about the same as the original wheel to turn signal stalk, so you can comfortably reach the turn signal stalk, and shift lever. If you are going to use a 6 bolt (MOMO or Nardi), there are adapters that fit the Grant base and give you the correct height with a given dish. If you want a 9 bolt or large diameter 6 bolt, there are adapters from Moto Lita that can be adapted to the Nardi, MOMO, and maybe the Grant. So find the wheel you want, send me the hole pattern/diameter/type, and I can probably figure out which adapters will work with it.

Are there any controls on your steering wheel? Such as cruise control?

If you look at the picture on the previous page, you will see that it does not have any controls on the steering wheel.

Then I would say most aftermarket wheels should offer an adapter that will work with your setup. I haven't done many aftermarket steering wheels, but I do know that Grant offers a large selection. I have used them in the past and was happy with the product.

    Help please.

Does anybody know why my front passenger door switches don’t work? Door Lock switch does not work. Window switch will not roll down, but it works fine to roll it up. I’ve replaced both switches. Everything works fine from the drivers side.

    Any help?

Do you have a VOM? You need to check for voltage, and ground at the connectors. You may have a broken wire, or a connector somewhere in the ciruit may have a loose or corroded pin.

I agree. My first thought was the wiring. Could be a bad ground, but likely a break or loose connection somewhere.

hey Tyler, been going back and checking out your build every once in a while. Waiting to have the funds around to bag my 89 CC, would love a parts list for all the pieces you used for your kit. love the look and hope mine looks like it soon, laying frame and going slow.
