    Had the chance to buy this one a month ago but bought the 73 454 Impala wagon instead.

    The Seller calls himself carwrecker88:1st: At least, he doesen't seem to be the typical car salesman with gold teeth in his gob and an empty can of brake fluid in the waste basket of which he just dumped into the crankcase, to swell a leaking main bearing seal

    No bids so far on this very appealing ( to me) Buick. That surprises me.

    Continue to be baffled by the lack of bids so far. The 1971 Plymouth Fury is bid so far to $6900, and ( to me at least) is not nearly as desirable as this Buick.

    I think, those wheels are scaring off potential bidders, despite being nice wheels

    I find it hard to believe someone would pass on a car they like because of the wheels that are on it.

    He calls it a LeSabre, but it's not. It's simply a Buick Estate Wagon. The damaged dash and damaged front seat that you can see in this photo indicate that, for all its virtues, it still needs some work. It's not a $7500 car. I'd say more $4000 to $5000.

    It's not the wheels themselves. But, the impression they leave. If these wheels were mounted onto a customized Tri-Five Chevy, it wouldn't draw attention. Someone in the market for this kind of vehicle would be more comfortable with stock wheels

    I bet there is as many modified station wagons as original ones. My wagon is the first car I have owned in over 30 years that has hub caps on it. Does it mean the car is less abused the all of the others?
    Maybe I am trying to say it is just wheels and no other meaning should be taken from it.
    ps;
    I think those wheels are ugly and would not put them on my 57 chev . I just don't think there are all that many choices for wheels on that car.

    Mike :)

    Those wheels are chrome-plated steel, from a '88/'89 Chevy SS 454 pickup model....

    Same 5x5 bolt pattern....... They would fit on my Safari, too - just wouldn't look good on it. They're nice for the Buick wagon, because they're fairly wide, I think - 7", if i recall correctly (might even be 8").

    080EA165-0EA5-4E11-ABCD-8AE69E33E468.jpeg I owned this car and sold it about 3 months ago. Rusty dog legs, bottom of fenders are rusty, and edges of rear 1/4’s are rusty. Of course the seller doesn’t mention any of those issues. Driver seat is torn, dash is cut with an aftermarket radio. It’s a good car, far from a great car. And the paint on the tailgate is horrible. Here it is with my 74 Buick Estate that’s a twin to it

    Oops......
    My mind just immediately went to the SS 454 P/U and didn't consider anything else......
