1990 Mercury Grand Marquis Woody https://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-Mercu...ash=item25eea4fe19:g:VNIAAOSwWY5akgoF&vxp=mtr Starting bid:US $7,200.00 Nice but top of the scale, should be better than this at the price, my opinion it is a $5500 car
Says he bought it from Peoria Ford (outside Phoenix) in 2012. I think this must be the same unit I had contacted Peoria Ford on. I was going to have one of our members look at it for me, but it was already sold. This was before I bought the Way-Back Machine.
Crack in front clip: I'm not sure what we're looking at here; is the trim coming off at the lower door end and fender area, is the door pushed in or is this an illusion? Am I imagining things or is that rust bubbling under the right roof strip nearest the rear? It's harder to tell on the forum, check in the listing. More photos here in this Youtube slideshow ( choose 1.25 or 1.5 speed if you want: )
I think it is an illusion. With the way the light is hitting the paint it is making the front lower corner of the fender blend in with the tire and making the trim appear to be coming off. It looks straight in all of the other pictures.
I looked at this one for Marshall a few years ago at Peoria Ford. Then a year or so later it was for sale by a private owner. I bought it and drove it for a few months and sold it to a collector car dealer in Scottsdale AZ. It's had a few more owners than the E bay ad states. Is a nice car though.
OK - THAT'S what happened...... I knew you were involved somehow, but couldn't remember the details. I should have jumped on this, but was thinking about it for a few days. Shouldn't have waited.....
