    First thing to do: re-position that battery cable so it's not leaning against the power steering pump pulley.:shocked:

    Very nice car. Wonder if those fender mounted mirrors are factory though?

    LOL......

    That's an interesting question, so I looked up the factory '57 Buick brochure, to see where the factory put them. There are NO outside mirrors on ANY of the vehicles in the factory brochure. (They're all illustrations, not photographs, but still........)

    Holy cow! I'd guess the wagon hasn't been started or driven much since new cables and battery. Other than that, and being the lowly Special model, it sure would look nice in my garage.

    It is a nice looking Buick, to bad my wife will only let me buy 1959-1990 GM Full Size Wagons. She likes the roll down rear window as opposed to the rear hatch style. She nixed the purchase of a 58 Bonneville Safari a few years ago for just that leading to the purchase of the present 78 Catalina.

    I believe the fender mounted mirrors are in the stock location.
