Really scary rust out. http://www.hibid.com/lot/34615312/1971-olds-custom-cruiser-4-dr--station-wagon-parts/
Halloween's over, why'd you post it today? All kidding aside that is some nasty looking rust and the interior doesn't look much better: Parts car then (if it's solid enough) please derby it. I don't even mind if the rust is this bad.
Even the key looks rusty. Not that it matters for this car any more, but I always like to see what options it has. Not a whole lot. A/C, power tailgate. Base AM radio, no cruise control, no tilt wheel?, no rear defogger, no power windows nor locks, no luggage rack. Overall, that dash looks pretty good. Probably the only thing worth salvaging on the car. Still has almost a quarter tank of gas!
That's strange that that dash is still pristine, while the wheel got crispy. Expect conspiracy theories, on this one
What do you mean no options? Geez man just LOOK AT IT! It's got a plethora of bacterium and fungi the likes of which a scientist would go nutz over for research! Let alone the RARE creatures that inhabit the condo!
There are several wagons and over forty vehicles in that auction. That wagon is at 1400 in pre bidding. Who knows how high it will go during to live auction. Speaking of high I'm thing some of the bidders have smoked one to many.
We will be there trying to buy the 1970 Pontiac Wagon. The clamshells are goin to be over $2,400 before the auction even starts
The condition of this wagon is heartbreaking. The photos look like they're taken from the cargo hold of sunken ship.
It depends on if the auction is to take place indoors where they could manipulate the ventilation with even more drugs
For $1400, the Chowderhead who bought it probably wanted it to decorate his livingroom, as a conversation piece for bored guests
