I think the '78 Electra Wagon looks especially scare there in the dark lurking beside the house. Tonight will be fun!

Man that 78 looks fantastic! I can't believe someone would send that to the junk yard. I know the wood grain is messed up, but that paint and chrome is so nice...

You should've rigged the car and pumpkin to light up on a motion sensor or a timer, with a recording of the car firing up and revving as the lights pop on.

That would have been so cool! Next year.

We seem to be done here. We had about 50 kids and there costumes were great! We never got any kids too old (over 16) all polite and seemed to having a fun evening.
It was a perfect weather night here following a VERY stormy day yesterday.

I'd have to say, today, and Halloween last year, had splendid sunny weather, even though there were some high clouds in the sky. Usually, by this time, the Puget Sound area has clouds, maybe drizzle, all the way to full-blown rain. So I am thankful this year and last year have had very nice weather.

My kids made out like bandits, and we had a rare Texas Halloween rainstorm at 9pm, so at least it held off until the kids were basically done. Really fun night! Hope everyone had a good and safe evening!

We had a good one here too. Believe it or not, my boys actually enjoy handing out candy to tricker treaters more than getting candy themselves.
Growing up we lived in a rural area, so Halloween was more of a school holiday. Now that I have kids and we live in a neighborhood I'm getting to experience it more and I have to say I have enjoyed it.

We had the same turn out as last year........................ Zero.:evilsmile::huh: I was sort f relieved. Out of three large bags of assorted treats Dollie ate all but three pieces.:( And she doesn't remember doing it!
I miss the trick or treaters. It's been over 25 years snce we lived where kids went out. Even then, the last few years we only had a few neighbors. That was on a short cul-de-sac.
Living in the boonies on a dark dead end road and here on basically an even shorter lane, no one gets out of town.
Our daughter did what Halloween trick or treating has become, she took our grandson to three different church parking lots where cars are parked with trunks open for handing out candy.

I really enjoy Halloween. From decorating the veranda to dressing up and handing out the treats. It's all great fun.
