At last a place where I can commune with fellow wagon lovers. My love of Station Wagons goes back to my childhood with the 1967 Buick Sportwagon my family had. On vacations my domain was the back of the wagon and I loved it! It was my own little world there for a five year old. My username comes from the fact of a photograph of me sleeping in the back of the Sportwagon, teddy bear in one arm and toy airplane in the other. Those were the days. I have owned two wagons in my life. The first was a 1989 1/2 Mercury Tracer wagon. It was the one that was basically a Mazda 323 wagon with Mercury body. My present wagon is a 2000 Subaru Legacy L wagon. As of this date she is undergoing major repairs from a huge pine limb that rocketed through the windshield and into the dashboard. I hope to get her back on the road soon. Best wishes wagon fans!
Nice story! I remember us following a 1967 with some kid in the back making faces and giving us the finger, but you would have only been 4 years old, when we went to Florida in 1971.
