    yes I did. car is all original paint and interior. no hidden repairs under new paint and woodgrain.

    I ain't skeered - buy it for me and I'll run it around. I've seen way worse. Hell, I've owned way worse.

    Someone's gonna get this to derby prolly, and that's a shame.

    Yep, 402, though Chevy put "400" badges on the front fenders... I guess they considered it a 400 big block. That is how mine is. Why not make a 402 badge? lol.

    lol, that is what I have heard as well. One day I was driving mine out of a cruise-in and one guy walking by said to another, "400 small block" when he seen the badge on my fender and I heard the other guy say, "no that is a big block car" and the other guy was like "really?". lol. The one guy had seen the engine it in earlier that evening and knew it was a 402. I guess it fooled a lot of people that seen these cars.

    I think I heard a long time ago these "402" big blocks were 396 blocks they rehoned and used in later production cars?

    My father was a "Big Block Chevy" guy. He always referred to the 402 as a "Glorified 396"
