Craigslist Find - 1974 Mercury Colony Park - Claiming 11K Miles

AS I have been on the hunt for a wagon myself, I have stumbled upon a few CL adds that I thought someone on here may benefit from. **Not my car**

OMG! I love it. We've been camping near Pella, Iowa. Day trip! Wife says let's go get it. Silly woman.
Headliner and carpet out. Some fender damage at woodgrain on right front fender and minor rust along right rocker and door area.
Still, barely broken in and some new parts. I'm trying to pick it apart.

I get down to the Des Moines area somewhat often. My Father-In-Law works for IPTV, the PBS Station.

I figured this would be a good deal for someone. Seems too good of a deal really. Makes me wonder if there should be a 1 in front of that 11XXX miles. The few pics of the interior does look like minimal wear with some dust build up.

I'm trying to forget about it. We used to go to Des Moines for car events and I think the large thresherman's reunion is/was there. Still have a window sticker for a popular drive-in at Des Moines with a large turn out anytime we'd drive over. It was the same as in the movies Porkys. I heard Porkys closed years ago. We'd camp right at the west curve of I-80 at a membership RV park.

Even 111,000 miles is not bad altho I used to trade if I got over 50,000 on a car.

Looks like one of those oddly equipped, probably " special ordered" cars. A Colony Park without cornering lamps!? ... and does not look to have power windows but DOES have factory cruise with the special cruise equipped steering wheel with the gold wreath in the center. But it looks nice! 70's CP's are some of my favorites
