Even for craigslist, I could wish for more info in the ad (e.g., overall condition?)

The price seems very good, but it's hard to judge from just the two pics.

If I had the money to spend (add about $2K for trucking) and the space to store it, I'd be seriously interested.

Frankly, it looks like a $1,600 wagon in the ad....

This is one of those situations where the owner could have easily got their asking price or more, if they had just spent some elbow grease cleaning up the car, and then take some good pics of it, and place a good ad, instead of 2 bad pics and a few-word description. I think it could be a $2,500 - $3,000 wagon - maybe.

Given the rarity of this wagon ( one year only), it really is the seller's fault for really bad marketing.

"Priced to sell fast" is right, this thing should be worth $1,400 easily if it runs good enough. I'm not seeing any big rust, the only part that may be surface rust is just above the front passenger door above the window corner.

This one is low option but at the price, any complaints really are nit picking.
