Wow! That's nice. Very clean. Amazing condition. And well optioned. I see cruise control too. No mention of rear jump seats. I wonder if it has them?

As a kids born in 1974, I grew up riding in a lot of these Ford wagons. My parents drove GM wagon, but lots of my friend's parents had the Squires. My main memory was NOT liking riding in the middle row, because either the seatbottom was too low, or the door panel was too high. It was like sitting in a hole and was hard to see out as a kid. By comparison I could see out a lot better in my parents '78 Pontiac Grand Safari.

This memory came back recently when my youngest son griped that he could not see out well from the middle row in my Roadmaster, and not because of the door panels, but because the Roady has high-back front seats that from the middle-row are hard to see around and he can't see over.

    Just random!

The listing now mentions 6-passenger, so I'm assuming no rear seats. I'm thinking this is a new seller, and is being flipped. Pictures look to be new and different. The house/garage in the pictures are different. Plus the obvious price increase.

... and to think I could have bought one identical to that (save it was a '76), same condition back in 2002 for $950. It was setting on the back lot (wholesale to the public) of a Ford dealer. Oh well!

Nope I am not flipping it. It was posted by the owners nephew. She inherited this car from her father. I raised the price based on research i did but it looks to be too high. I joined this forum to get a better idea of its true value.

This appears to be an extremely nice Country Squire. That said, it did not sell when priced at $8500. How many responses did it get at that price?

Here's what I might do. Put it on eBay with a reserve and see what happens with bidding. eBay is not free but you will get a much larger exposure than on craigslist. Just a thought. Good luck. :)

Cool. Still think eBay is a good option as well.
