Here's THE perfect wagon silverfox! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=130314864224
LOL....well,,,can't knock the car too much. It was on ebay before and the seller passed on 25K. That's one big problem. As for me...it's not my favorite year for a Ford for a woody. Fords aren't my favorite but I do like some of them. I do NOT like bench seats. Not my favorite color combo. But...it's one hell of a car. No doubt. Here's another nice one that's original....I like original. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...110404456040&viewitem=&_trkparms=tab=Watching
Fox, you have got to be one aggravating Fart. I know you are because youre waaay pickier than me, and im aggravating enough!!!
Well, Jase....I was ASKED to pick this car apart. Didn't find anything except my personal preference things....don't see how those could be perceived as aggravating. Said it was a hell of a car.
Papacito? It's like looking at bikinis. Look but don't touch! It seems to become rarer and rarer up here. I'm the only one on my street for 30 blocks! and I haven't seen one for at least 3 weeks, even at the local malls.
At other places on the web,and here as well sometimes,I put (joke) at the end a comment I want percieved as such.It usually helps.
Now! To actually get around to commenting on the car(s) in question...The Ford DOES look great! The paint color is too close to the color of the woodie...I DID like how the seller included a pic of a door hinge.NOT something you see in every ad...The Chrysler woodie looked great too. Strangely enough,it's not that much different in color, and the brown doesn't highlight the woodie(OR the other way around)...I understand that a lot of money was paid to fix up that Ford, but even the $25,000 that didn't buy it before seems a little steep...Maybe if I'd allready won big at the Lottery, was at a Barrett-Jackson auction, and was caught up in the excitement of the moment,I 'd bid it up to $30,000---but,sonce I haven't done all that stuff yet,I'll just leave this comment instead.
No cute little red wagons. Seriously, I have to go to HandyAndy's house to find 2 parked wagons close together.
It's getting worser here,in that respect,too...I'm fearing, that even without a clunker law,we're losing our nice old cars at too quick a clip...Many,here in my part of LA seem to think that late 90's Toyotas,Nissans and Acuras ARE the nice old cars. There ARE STILL a few hold outs around here though...Just not as many as there used to be...
I love originallity too! As for any old Chrysler product, they look great but try working on one! And those winey starter motors, about the worst noise on earth except for maybe bagpipes! If I had unlimited funds, that 66 Ford Wagon would be mine! You know I'm just ribbing you silverfox, I enjoy picking cars apart too! Clark
