Green on green on green on green....sure a lot of green in that picture. But at $3,000, that is not a lot of green!

I'm guessing the dark green areas on this one would originally have had the Di-Noc 'wood' applied. I don't recall ever having seen a two-tone one....

I contacted the owner. He's a nice guy. He sent me some pictures. The car has definitely had some paint and body work as evidenced by the pics. With the exception of the driver's door arm rest and cracks in the dash, the interior isn't too bad. It appears to be a fully loaded car.

Did a little further checking and found that the Di-Noc woodgrain was standard on the Monaco. There were lower-line wagons named 'Polara' and 'Polara Custom' that didn't have the woodgran.....but they also didn't have the concealed headlamps.

The Monaco Di-Noc was printed in two tones of "wood" for a unique look. Surviving examples are irreplaceable.

I'm starting to appreciate these Monaco wagons more, now that I took a better look at the original woodgrain paint.

That is a very unique two-year-only front end. :thumbs2:

That door is green/woodgrain done right, IMHO.

Above average good looking, for a Mopar. That's when their designs got more curvy for a while.

I'd like it.........if it were any (factory) color, OTHER than that horrible green.
