Supposed 3900 original miles. What looks like burnt paint (or rust) under the hood appears suspect. https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/cto/6123453880.html
Rust-proofing, not rust. My old '78 Chrysler NYBS came from northern Iowa and had the same thing. Judging from the total lack of sunfade the was common on Mopar tan interiors, plus all of the original hose clamps, a painted water pump bypass hose, and many other clues, I could easily believe 3,900 actual miles. The car is simply too clean for 103K. Priced very ambitiously, but for the right buyer, this is a very slick Fury!
X2 on the wax based rust proofing. I have had many cars with it that was done by the previous owners. If you don't keep the body drains clear as it slowly oozes its way down the interior panels it can actually trap water in the doors and body panels and make the car rust just as bad if not worse that without it. It also leaves that wonderful coating you see if not wiped off when you 1st get the car. I preferred the petroleum based rust proofing, dripped on you driveway in hot weather but actually worked. Even if it made any mechanic that saw it think you had a massive oil leak. The EPA killed the type I preferred due to the dripping issue. Just noticed the 76 Michigan front Plate. Must have originally sold in MI. Now in Indiana
Ad says he is selling it for his fiancee's grandmother who lives in Slaginaw which is where the car is located. Not a real big fan of this generation of Fury, but it sure is in great condition.
