I have been trying to post pictures on this site so that my ad, which I placed today, can have pictures for everyone to view...every time I attempt to post, it says my "file is too large"...can someone help me with this?

Sounds like your pictures are to large, you may need to reduce them. Send WagonMaster a PM he'll help you to get them posted.

Email them to me, silvertwinkiehobo@gmail.com, and I can resize them on my computer for you. A member on Ranchero.us used to do this for me when all I had was a tablet. Now that I have my laptop back, I can pay it forward. PM me when you've sent the pics.

You can easily resize photos yourself with this program.

    http://www.bricelam.net/ImageResizer/

I have used this for many years, and it is great. Free, easy to use, part of the right click pop-up menu, resize one photo or a directory-full at the same time, resize to preset sizes or reset to your own custom size, resize the original or keep the original and make a resized copy, and more. As American Express says, don't leave home without it.

thank you so much!....I am very inexperienced with computer picture work...how do I find out how much I have to resize the pictures on my computer to fit on the forum here? I have another vehicle that I have listed for sale here, a 1949 Chevy Sedan Delivery, but cannot post pictures until they are resized...thanks for any assistance

I would resize them to the "large" or "medium" size. That generally gets them down to less than 1 MB in size, often less than 500 KB, and that's plenty large for display here. They will upload much more quickly, too.
